Dear Lermanet.org,
While surfing the Internet last summer, 1994, I came across the website of Arnaldo Lerma. I read some of the materials he published about Willis Carto. I sent Lerma an email that day with several questions about Willis Carto.
On Ausgust 7th, Lerma responded to my email and convinced me that Willis Carto was an American patriot. I've since learned that Carto is NOT a patriot, but that he a neo-Nazi hatemonger.
In his email response to me, Lerma asked me to send him money. He said the money was to pay for the printing of promotional flyers that he would distribute to the public on Veteran's Day at the Mall in Washington, DC. He said the flyers would help expose the bad deeds of Willis Carto's enemies.
On August 7th I mailed Lerma $100.00 in cash. Four days later he emailed me and informed me that he received the money I had sent and that he would begin work on the flyers.
On November 12th, the day after Veteran's day, I sent Lerma an email asking "how it went" at the Mall. He replied and told me that the flyers did not get distribiuted. His excuse was that he had "car trouble".
That same day I called him on the phone and asked him to send me back my money. He seemed reluctant to do this. He was quite defensive in his attitude, but I was persistant.
After some prodding and probing he informed me that he never actually had any flyers printed and agreed to send me back the $100.00 I had sent to him. (getting the truth from Lerma is like pulling teeth)
It is now January 2005 and Lerma still has not sent me back my money. I do not expect Lermanet.org to help me regain the money Lerma stole from me. I just wish I had come to this website prior to landing at Lerma's website!
Please post this message on the Lermanet.org website so that others will read it and hopefully they will not get conned by Arnaldo Lerma.
Signed,
A Day Late & A Dollar Short
